1 COR. 6:11b,19, & 20
[11] But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
[19] Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; [20] you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
Observation
What a timely reminder on this Good Friday. Reminded that we are washed, sanctified, and justified because of Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. We are bought with a price. we are not our own.
Application
Let us honor God with our bodies, with our tongue, with our eyes, with our thoughts with our desires, with our attitudes.
Jesus died for us. Let’s have a Good Friday and live for Him.
Prayer
Father,
I am mindful of Your love, yet I really can’t comprehend it.
I desire to be obedient, yet in my own power I’ll never attain it.
Your Scripture resonates in my heart, yet I fail to maintain it.
Wash by His blood, Sanctified by His Sacrifice, Justified by the injustice place upon Him.
FORGIVENESS, LOVE, MERCY, HOPE, GRACE, - PRICELESS - for everything else there ...
