HONESTLY HONESTY!

TODAY'S READING: Proverbs 1-3; Romans 7

SCRIPTURE

Proverbs 3:5-8 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; [6] in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. [7] Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. [8] This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
Romans 7:19-20,25 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. [20] Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. [25] Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!

OBSERVATION

I ache and then I wonder why! There is this part of me, the best part of me that wants to always be living out the verses in Proverbs 3; trusting the Lord, submitting to him, fearing him. Then there is reality; the verses in Romans 7, "I do not do the good I want to do..."
In the end I trust in Romans 7:25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!

APPLICATION

Trust God to get me where God wants me.
Build relationship with him, I am going to tell Him how much I love Him; I am going to listen to how much He loves me.

PRAYER

Help me get here - JESUS!
