The Blessing is in the Doing

TODAY'S READING: Ezek. 40,41; Ps. 128; Rev. 21

Ps. 128:1 Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in obedience to him.

Observation
Why walk? Why not - who sit in obedience or who run in obedience?
What is obedience?

Application
Obedience is submission, it’s compliance
Sometimes I sit in obedience, sometimes I know what’s right, I just don’t do it - I sit.
Most the time, I run in obedience, I do obedience like a runner does wind sprints - fast, short and not to often.
I need to walk in obedience
I need to be more consistent
The Blessing is in the doing!
I need to walk
I need to obey

Prayer
Father,
Thank for the reminder from your word today.
Today, help me to “walk” in obedience to you.
