TODAY'S READING: Neh. 5,6; Ps. 146; Luke 24 [TNIV]
Ps. 146: 1,2
Praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD, my soul.
I will praise the LORD all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
Luke 24: 45-49
Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. 46 He told them, "This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47 and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things. 49 I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."
The Psalms teach me to praise Him
The Gospel tells me to proclaim Him
If Luke 24 teaches me anything, it teaches me that things happen as I spend time with Him. Life is about Jesus, not me.
Praise Him, with all my soul, and all my life
Proclaim Him, as He opens my mind to understand the Scriptures , and as I call on the power of the Holy Spirit that is within me.
Jesus,
My prayer is simple, too know you more, and share you often.
NOTE:
To friends and family that take the time to read my Life Journal Entries,.
My entries have been random to say the least over the past several months.
My spiritual life was having the same inconsistencies, kind of like here today and gone tomorrow.
I'm feeling much more in sync right now and my prayer is that daily reading and writing will return to my lifestyle. Stay tuned, I hope too.
