FEW DO!

REFERENCE
Matthew 7:13,14 [ESV] Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
Matthew 7:13,14 [NLT] "You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell* is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. 14 But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.
Matthew 7:13,14 [MESSAGE] “Don’t look for shortcuts to God. The market is flooded with surefire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time. Don’t fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do. 14 The way to life—to God!—is vigorous and requires total attention.

EXPLORATION
This verse is so different from the message of grace that we hear. And we know that we can't earn salvation so what is the verse talking about working so hard for, so vigorously, with total attention.
I think it's talking about choices. The choice to trust, to obey, to follow, to believe, to desire.

APPLICATION
Talks cheap!
Where's the fruit?

Father,
May my life reflect my beliefs.
May my actions bring you honor and glory
May my attitude reflect Jesus.
Few do!
