TICKLE MY EAR

TODAY'S READING: Lev. 13,14; Acts 17
SCRIPTURE
Acts 17:10 You are bringing some strange ideas to our ears, and we would like to know what they mean.”
Acts 17:24-28 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. [25] And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. [26] From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. [27] God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. [28] ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’
OBSERVATION
Hear these words, ...the Lord of heaven and earth does not live in temples built by hands,
... he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else
... God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him
... he is not far from any one of us.
APPLICATION
Tickle my ear! Lord of heaven and earth gives everyone everything
This day I shall seek him, reach out to him, find him,
he is not far ... what is that tickle?
PRAYER
Father,
It is Sunday Morning, and I’ve started the day, tickled to hear again that You don’t live in temples built by hands, no You live in me. Now use my hands to worship You.
Thank you for live and breath and everything else!
This day I seek thee, reach to thee, and I do better than just find you, I have discovered anew, that I am found by You. - Your Word declares, “We are his offspring”.
Tickle my ears, I want to know, what does it mean to be a child of God?
