IT TAKES JESUS TO GET 'ER DONE!

TODAY'S READING: Deut. 16-18; Ps.38; Gal.2

SCRIPTURE

Galatians 2:21,22 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. [21] I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"

OBSERVATION

Grace! Grace! - Paul shouts Grace! [I do not set aside the grace of God]
Works couldn't get 'er done! Busyness can't get 'er done!
Jesus got it done! Crucified and Resurrected!
It's faith in Jesus, a faith that says He loves me, that He gave Himself for me!
A faith that says; I live for God, I live by Grace. I live to Give, but I will never out give Him.
It's faith I need, today!

APPLICATION

One evening I'm changing the the clocks and it's like spring has sprung. I didn't just lose an hour, I feel like I'm losing days at time. Palm Sunday, then Easter Sunday and then summer before we know it. Slow me Lord, Remind me again, SAVED BY GRACE, Jesus got 'er done.

PRAYER

Father,
Don't let Palm Sunday and Good Friday, and Easter - come and go.
Slow me down, Allow me to worship you. Show me what that worship should look like.
Teach me to extend the grace that has been extended to me.
Get 'er done in me.
Get 'er done through me.
Get 'er done and come again I pray.
