LORD MY GOD
TODAY'S READING: Deut. 10-12; Mark 16
SCRIPTURE
Mark 16:4-7 [4] But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. [5] As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.
[6] "Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. [7] But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.' "
OBSERVATION
In today reading, in the book of Deuteronomy Moses repeats the phrase, LORD YOUR GOD, many times in chapters 10-12.
This morning, in the last chapter of Mark, we learn about the LORD MY GOD. He is risen!
And he has gone ahead of me.
APPLICATION
I'll serve a risen Savior, who is in the world today,
I'll serve a risen Savior, who is in my heart to stay.
I'll worship, a risen Savior, the LORD MY GOD, today.
PRAYER
Father,
With the time change we lost an hour last night.
With the new dawn breaking, I'm reminded I serve a risen Savior.
BE THE LORD MY GOD TODAY!
