NOT BE SILENT! [ For May 13th, 2008]

TODAY'S READING: 2 Sam. 24; 1 Chr. 21; Ps. 30; 1 Th. 2

SCRIPTURE

Ps. 30: 11,12 You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever.

OBSERVATION

What simple truths to cling too. You turned... You removed... You clothed...
Life is so much more about God then about us.

APPLICATION

Today we buried my father, today we celebrated his life, mourned his death, trusted in God at new level.
This verse, this day was played out in my life.
God turned my wailing into dancing, changed my heart from sadness to gladness, and in the end allow me to just say; "Thanks".
Thanks for my father. Thanks

PRAYER

Holy Spirit,
This verse on this day, I recognize your handiwork, THANKS.
