THANKS

TODAY'S READING: 2 Sam. 15,16; Ps. 32; Mt.25
SCRIPTURE
Ps. 32:10 Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORD'S unfailing love surrounds those who trust in him
OBSERVATION
The Psalmist starts this psalm proclaiming the the blessing of those whose sins are forgiven and ends the psalm at verse 11. telling us to rejoice in the LORD, be glad and sing.
You cannot get to verse 11 which walking through verse 10 - YOU MUST TRUST.
APPLICATION
Today [May 8th] my father went to be with Jesus. It's a mixed blessing, it was easy to let him go because he was suffering so much and was not going to get better. It is tough to have him gone because - simply, - He was DAD! He was father, he was grandfather, he was great-grandfather, and he is gone. We will get to rejoicing, and gladness and singing. But we will get there through TRUSTING in a God that knows the number of each of our days.
PRAYER
Father,
Thanks, thanks says it all. Thanks for being with us always, in good times and in bad.
Thanks for parents that pointed all of us to You.
Thanks
Bring the gladness, bring the music, remind us again about the joy of our salvation.
[NOTE: I have not journaled for three days and am stopping today to catch up and will post 3 entries today, this is the first of them.]
