BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING

TODAY'S READING: 1 Ki.12; 2 Chr. 10.11; Phil. 2

SCRIPTURE

Phil. 2:1-4 [TNIV] [1] Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, [2] then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. [3] Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, [4] not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

OBSERVATION

Follow the "if's"
if you have any encouragement,
if any comfort
if any common sharing in the Spirit
if any tenderness and compassion

THEN, turn it up a notch and bring your life to a new level.
Do nothing, let me repeat that; do nothing:
out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, nothing
VALUE OTHER ABOVE YOURSELVES

APPLICATION

Like Paul instructed the Philippians, I need to first count my blessings, and then predetermine because I have been blessed to bless others.

PRAYER

Father

May this be more than a prayer, may it be the mantra of my heart; BLESSED to be a Blessing
