FIGHT?

Scripture

1 Tim. 6: 12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Observation

What is the good fight of the faith that I'm to fight?
For me, in a word, OBEDIENCE!
Obedience out of desire, not demand.
Not because I have too, but because I want too.
Obedience to the word of God.
Obedience to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
Obedience to Kingdom economics, giving more than I get

Application

Obedience is made easier, as I trust more.
I trust more, as I come to know and experience God's love more.
I know and experience God's love more has I spent time with Him.
Fighting the good fight of the faith, is living in His presence more.

Prayer

Father,
By the power of the Holy Spirit, put within me, a desire for more -
For more of you.
Allow me to become more and more obedient, as I learn to trust you more, and recognize your love often.
