JESUS = GODLINESS = JESUS

TODAY'S READING: 1 Ki. 6,7; 2 Chr. 20; 1 Tim. 3

Scripture

1 Tim. 3:16 Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great:
He appeared in a body,
was vindicated by the Spirit,
was seen by angels,
was preached among the nations,
was believed on in the world,
was taken up in glory.

Observation

I know it's just coincidence, or it is that 1 Tim. 3:16 and John 3:16 are talking about the same person, two different authors, two different books, one subject, Jesus.
I love this verse, "Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: JESUS!

Application

For me to be godly, I need to be like Jesus.

Prayer

Holy Spirit,
Work that work out in my life.
Help me to see Him, and be like Him, in all I think, do and say.
Jesus, the hope of the world, may I reflect His love, His kindness, His patience, His abiding in the Father.
