BY FAITH

TODAY'S READING: Is. 19-21; Heb. 11

SCRIPTURE

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

OBSERVATION

Hebrews 11 speaks of the faith of the ancients.
Hebrews 11 speaks too me. The Holy Spirit begs the question: What do you hope for?
And my heart leaps in response: More of Jesus than I can contain, that is my hope.
Too experience His presence, to abide in Him like He abides in Father.
Too bring Him pleasure, in the things I do and say.
Too offer Him praise, for He is my God.
Hebrews 11 speaks of being certain of what I don’t see.
Hebrews 11 speaks too me. I can not see love, yet I experience it.
I can not see trust, yet I am developing it.
I can not see hope, yet I yearn for it.
I can not see faith, yet I have it.

APPLICATION

By faith, seek Jesus today,
By faith, love Jesus today,
By faith, trust in Jesus today,
By faith, hope!

PRAYER

Holy Spirit,
Hebrews says that faith in being sure of what we hope for, thank you for placing that faith in my soul.
Hebrews says to be certain of what we do not see. I’m certain it is you that is transforming me into what God would have me be.
