BREAD OF LIFE, BELIEVE

TODAY'S READING: 2 Ki. 22; 2 Chr. 34; John 6

Scripture
John 6:27-29 Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On him God the Father has placed his seal of approval."
[28] Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?"
[29] Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."
[35] Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
[41] At this the Jews there began to grumble about him because he said, "I am the bread that came down from heaven."
[48] I am the bread of life.
[51] I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."
[63] The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit* and life.

Observation
Believe that Jesus is God
Believe that God is all I need
In Jewish culture something that was repeated three times in the Torah was Gospel, was very important, was to be observed, was to be believed.

Jesus in this chapter says, "I am" 4 times, 4 times, what am I going to do with that?
Application
Believe
Prayer

Father,
My tendency is to make things harder than they need to be.
I hear; "What must we do to do the works God requires?"And I'm looking for a list.
Jesus, offers life.
Fill me with your Spirit.
