HIDE

SCRIPTURE
Ps. 119:11 [NLT] 11 I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
Ps. 119:11[Message] 11 I’ve banked your promises in the vault of my heart so I won’t sin myself bankrupt.

OBSERVATION
I read this verse in the morning, by afternoon I'd sinned against God.
His word wasn't hidden in my heart, it was at best obscurely rattling around in my brain.

APPLICATION
James 1:22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

PRAYER,
Father,
This afternoon was one of those embarrassing "getting caught with your pants down" days.
I know you've forgiven me.
I'm just looking for the "do over"
