TODAY'S READING: Num.10,11; Ps.27; Mark 1
Scripture
Num. 11:[23] The LORD answered Moses, “Is the LORD's arm too short? Now you will see whether or not what I say will come true for you.”
Ps. 27:[13] I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD
in the land of the living.
[14] Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.
Mark 1: [14] After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. [15] “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”
Observation
In Numbers the people were complaining, and when God promises meat, Moses asks, how?
The LORD’S reply makes my spirit leap, “ Is the LORD’S arm too short?”
In the 27th Psalm, the psalmist says, “I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living, and my heart jumps for joy.
In the gospel of Mark, Jesus says, The time has come, the kingdom of God is here, repent and believe in me and my soul soars with satisfaction.
Application
Today I claim bits and pieces of the Scriptures.
My spirit trust in the long arm of the LORD.
My heart experiences the goodness of the LORD, in the land of the living, the living.
My soul, falls at the feet of Jesus, repenting, believing, knowing.
Prayer
Father,
To claim more than bits and pieces of Your Word would be to overwhelming.
I claim your provision
I claim your patience
I claim your purity
Clothe me with your character.
Bits and Pieces of it.
