CHOOSE LIFE!

TODAY’S READING: Duet. 30,31; Ps.40; 1Cor.1

Scripture

Deut. 30:15,16,19,20a [15] See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. [16] For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.
[19] This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live [20] and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him.

Observation

Ok, I know this is Moses talking in the Hebrew Scriptures to the Israelites, but it sure feels like God talking to me. LOVE GOD, WALK IN OBEDIENCE, KEEP COMMANDS ETC., LISTEN TO HIS VOICE, HOLD FAST TO HIM. CHOOSE LIFE -so that you and your children may live.

I Choose LIFE - I Choose JESUS - I choose for me and my family.

Prayer

Father,
This Palm Sunday as we celebrate Jesus riding into Jerusalem, ride into my heart anew.
For me, and for my children.
Holy Spirit - make it happen - loving God, walking in obedience, keeping the WORD, listening to Your voice, holding on - choosing not just in the quiet of a beautiful morning, but in the busyness of the day.
Jesus - U ROCK! HAPPY PALM SUNDAY! MARCH INTO MY LIFE EVERYDAY!
