SO, The Little BIG Word!

TODAY’S READING: Deut. 22-24; Gal. 4

SCRIPTURE

Gal. 4:6,7 Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba,Father." [7] So you are no longer slaves, but God’s children; and since you are his children, he has made you also heirs.

OBSERVATION

It's the Spirit that is in our hearts.
It's the Spirit that cry's out, Papa!
Then the little big word, at verse 7, "SO"
SO - you are no longer slaves
SO - you are children of God
SO - you are heirs.
Why - because the SPIRIT of his Son HE sent into my heart.

APPLICATION

As a child of God, this phrase comes to mind:
LET THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD, SAY; SO!
Proclaim Him, Claim Him, "I am a Child of God"
I'm going to rest in that today.

PRAYER

Father,
Thank you for the reminder again that life is so much more about you and what you accomplish than it is about me.
Thank you for putting the Spirit of Jesus in my heart. That Spirit that calls out "Abba, that calls out Papa" For a Spirit that allows me to call out to you to.
Thanks for the little "BIG" words of the Bible.
So - Speaks of what You've accomplished, and of what I've acquired.
