WAITING

TODAY’S READING: Judges 8; Ps. 42; 1 Cor. 15

Scripture

Ps. 42:1,2 As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.
[2] My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When can I go and meet with God?

Observation

God put within my heart a thirst for God.
God put within my heart a thirst for the living God.
When can I go and meet with God? When not?

Application

May I never again deny the thirst to be in His presence.
May I never again long for anything more that I long for God.
May I not only meet with Him, may I always bring someone with me.

Prayer

Father,
Today, while reading your Word, I read this in 1 Cor 15, this about Paul; "But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect."
May those words forever ring true of me also.
By the grace of God I am what I am
Thank you for waiting for me.
Now use me for your glory and use the church
As we wait for You to return in the person of Jesus.
