AM I SAUL?

TODAY'S READING: 1Sam. 8-10; 2 Cor. 10

SCRIPTURE

1 Sam. 10: And the LORD said, "Yes, he has hidden himself among the supplies."

OBSERVATION

1 Sam. 8 Israel asked for a king.
1 Sam. 9 God picks Saul, and when you read the chapter, God let Saul know he is God's choice.
1 Sam. 10 When Samuel assemblies the tribes to announce the "King". Where is the new King, picked by God himself?
HIDING - The new King was hiding and not just hiding, hiding among the supplies.
Hidden among the abundance.

APPLICATION

Reality Check:
When God calls me to service, just how available am I?
When God calls me to service, am I hiding among the abundance.

PRAYER

Father,
You picked Saul, why would he hide?
You picked him, how could he fail with God going before him?
You've picked me, why would I hesitate?
