APRIL 8th READING: 1 Sam. 3-5; Ps. 77; 2 Cor. 8

SCRIPTURE

Ps. 77:11-15
[11] I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
[12] I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds."
[13] Your ways, God, are holy. What god is as great as our God?
[14] You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.
[15] With your mighty arm you redeemed your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph.

PRAYER

Oh God,
Forgive me, I become so self-absorbed.
I trust You, to a point.
I love You, to a point.
I forget Your God,
Help me to remember, to reflect, to consider, just what an awesome God You are.
Our God, help me to consider; your deeds, your miracles, Your works, Your ways, Your power, Your Salvation. Oh God, patient beyond measure.
Redeem me, teach me what it means to be "holy abandoned to you."
To You, Our God!
