TODAY'S READING: 1 Sam. 14; 1 Chr. 4; 2 Cor. 13
SCRIPTURE
2 Cor. 13: 11,14 Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
[14] May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
OBSERVATION
Sometimes you need to read Scriptures backwards. Without the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. I don't think I could possibly get to: Rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace.
APPLICATION
Day's like today I'm so glad you are God and I'm not. There are days that I'm not on the same page as my brothers and sisters in Christ. There are days that I don't think we are even headed in the same direction. But you have called us to community. You have called us to be of one mind, living in peace. Work your work Almighty God. Work it first in my heart.
PRAYER
Father,
Fill me with the grace of Jesus, Your love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
Put in my life those brothers and sisters that would draw me closer to you and trusting in you. Put in my life those brothers and sisters that I might be used to draw closer to you. And put in my life most of all, those that are missing out on experiencing relationship with you. Allow me today, to be the church.
