REMINDER

TODAY'S READING: 1 Chr. 16; Ps. 106; Mt. 19

SCRIPTURE

Ps. 106:21 They forgot the God who saved them, who had done great things in Egypt.

OBSERVATION

They turned their backs on God, and then blame God for not being in front of them.
They forgot the God who saved them
They forgot the God who had done great things.

APPLICATION

We often worship a God who is only as great as His last miracle.
We need to worship a God who is as great as His first miracle.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

PRAYER

Father,
Somehow I have this incredible ability to forget that I exist for your pleasure and I begin to think that you exist for mine.
Somehow I have this incredible ability like the Israelites to forget the God who saved me.
The God who saved me not just from eternal damnation, but the God that saved me to the Kingdom of God.
This day may your kingdom come, to me and through me.
Thanks for the reminder about my salvation.
