REALLY?

John 18: 4 [TNIV] Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to him, went out and asked them, “Who is it you want?”

Observation

In this chapter, John tells us that Jesus and his disciples went to the garden often, often enough that Judas knew where to find him. Jesus has just finished praying and they show up. Jesus having spent time in a special place with special friends and especially with his Father - [hear these words again] - knowing all that was going to happen to him, went out...

Application

Where is my special place? Who are the people I’d want around me?
Having spent time there, with them and my Father, will I be willing to walk into my destiny?
Jesus, knew all that was going to happen to him, arrest, betrayal, beat, crucified, buried, resurrected, enthroned.

Prayer

Father,
I don’t know all that is going to happen to me, but I pray that you would put a place, people, and purpose in my life that continually draws me closer to you and to others.
